FEED THE BAY PROGRAM
AND NUTRITION PROJECT

An Innovative Project
The Trust has been coordinating and spearheading a project to help Golden Bay residents become more self reliant and not dependent on transporting the majority of our food from outside the bay. In addition to working on the program for growing local staple foods such as potatoes, carrots, and onions we are also developing a nutritional education program to show residents how they can use staple foods and grains to form complete protein balanced meals.
